Which is better, the Samsung S9+ or the iPhone X?

Gadget Expert (2009-present)
Hello! There is no absolutely right answer on this question, but we can try to compare these devices.
First main thing is display resolution. S9+ wins there with 1440 x 2960 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio (~529 ppi density) instead of 1125 x 2436 pixels (~458 ppi pixel density) of iPhone X. Also, display size isn’t so easy to say parameter because some people have different preferences. (6.2 inches S9+ and 5.8 inches iPhone X.
Second thing is camera and there is no absolutely winner at all. Just because of the fact that they both have main dual 12 MP cameras with detection autofocus, OIS, 2x optical zoom, quad-LED (dual tone) flash. But when the lights go down, the Galaxy S9 steps up with its new Super Speed Dual Pixel camera, which has an aperture that goes as wide as f/1.5. The iPhone X's shooter is limited to f/1.8, so it lets in less light. The Galaxy S9+ also get point for offering better Super Slow-Mo video, as it can record clips at up to 960 frames per second. The iPhone X can do only 240 fps.
Third important thing is performance. The Snapdragon 845 processor inside the Galaxy S9 and S9+ provides quite a speed boost, but it's not enough to catch the A11 Bionic chip inside the iPhone X.
In benchmarking tests, the iPhone X scored 4257 in the single-core test and 10,364 in the multi-core Geekbench 4 test. In the same test, the Galaxy S9+ scored 8424 and 2472. Benchmarking tests are fine for giving an overall view, but real-world performance is far more important. Both phones feel quick in day-to-day use and can handle every single app in their respective app stores. However, feels the iPhone X is reliably smoother.
In terms of RAM, the iPhone X is equipped with 3GB, whereas the Galaxy S9+ packs in 6GB. iOS and Android handle RAM differently, so a bigger number doesn’t necessarily equate to better performance in this case.
Last thing is battery life and Samsung Galaxy S9+ wins for a little bit here with its 3,500-mAh battery. It lasted a very good 10 hours and 59 minutes on the Tom's Guide Battery Test. That's about an hour more than the smartphone average and a bit longer than the runtime turned in by the iPhone X (10:49).
Finally, just want to pay your attention at fact, that both phones are pretty much equal. You just need to choose one that you like more, according to your price range. More info about comparison of these phones here:
